Trip to Connecticut/ Pennsylvania

Ok, so I know that this is a blog post that is WAY too long. The thing is is that I have Dial up so posting pictures is somewhat of an issue. So what I do is i send a little flash drive with Adam to school/work and he uploads my pics and then I go in and Edit them. So here are the stories/pics of our trip back east while Adam climbed Mount Rainier with Brandon.

So the first thing we did when we flew into Connecticut was load up the car and headed out for Pennsylvania (where I grew up) to see my sisters. So Imagine Mom, Traci, me, Ryan, Hobie, Piper and Mudslide in the MDX. As you Know Pugs overheat frequently so this is her trying to cool down. I love the tongue. Too funny.

Here we are at our first rest stop.

So if you are from the east you know about TastyKakes... need I say more? They are the BEST!

So Here is the town where I went to High School and grew up.. Fogelsville Pennsylvania! hahah
ya gotta love it. Sweet pic I know

I didnt' get a great pic of Bonnies or Paulas house but here were all the kids at Bonnies playing int their back yard pool. Ryan had a lot of fun splashing around. The kids are soo fun to watch.

Then we stayed the night at Paula's house and did some school haircuts. This is Tanner getting his hair cut. I owe everything I know about doing hair to my mom she is the queen bee of hair. I love it when my mom and I get together and talk hair. It's like shopping for me:)

Ok so it was getting a little late and Tanner was at his wits end.. so he goes to paulas shirt and sticks his head in and this came out.. I was laughing so hard.

It kind of looks like something from a really really scary movie. hahah or some kind of bug transforming into something else..

We gave Amber and Abby highlights this year with their cuts. Abby went to bed so I didnt' get a pic of her "do" but this is Amber.. she is the cutest 13 year old you have ever seen. WE made her Hot for the new school year..
The next morning for breakfast Ryan enjoyed some Cottage cheese.. it was sooo cute I'm glad I caught It on camera!

Then on our way to the outlet malls for school shopping with everyone we ran into a tornado storm and the mall was outside. so all 13 kids and 4 adults ran into a kids store and stayed there till it passed.. Mass Chaos! but here's a cute pic on the way home

Then we made our way back home to Connecticut. ahhh here is the homestead. I cant tell you what a vacation it was for me to hang in a big house with my parents with cable, highspeed internet, pool , hot tub.. ahhh.

Sunday morning Mom , Molly (dog) Ryan and I all went for a walk.. it was beautiful but super humid.

Sunday evening we all went down to Historic Collinsville. Its a cool river with a walking path. here's my Mom and Dad with Ryan. I love pics at this time of the day.

Ryan really warmed up to Grandma Carla this trip. She will soon realize that you go to Grandma and Grandpa's for Love, fun and treats:))
This is a historic bridge I'm sure... I dont know how but i'm sure it is

This is a great pic of my dad i think. I love the rusty bridge behind him.

Typical Connecticut landscape.. quite a difference from dry Utah

I Have a great family. I am so blessed.

On Sunday evening Dad took me out for a ride ! Its a super swank car and its FAST! haha I couldn't get the "Big T" ( for reference see movie RV) out of the pic in the backround.. haha

Ok so Dad let me drive but I drove like a little old ladie so he showed me how it's done

Connecticut is so beautiful! I'm glad you got to go visit the fam! There's nothing in the world like hangin' at the parents house once you've moved away! Ryan is adorable too!! Can't wait to see you in about 2 weeks! :)
